Guys that go nuts over Angel Locsin should be excited (and a little disappointed) over her sexy pictorial for Maxim’s May 2008 issue.

Guys like me, for instance.

There’s no doubt that Angel Locsin is smoking hot on the cover of Maxim Phil.’s latest issue. But once you get past the glossy cover, the promise of more hotness pics goes slowly down the drain.

I don’t know about you, but the rest of these photos look like they belong on the pages of Cosmopolitan, instead of being on the pages of one of the top men’s magazines in the country. It’s a MAGAZINE FOR MEN, your hotness, not a fashion rag!

Angel Locsin has seemingly replaced Kristine Hermosa as ABS-CBN’s sexy sweetheart, IMHO. And the main reason why is because of sex appeal. Now, Kristine Hermosa can still compete with the best of them when it comes to bootylicious curves, and coupled with that sweet face, she’s got the potential to be a winner.

But does Kristine flaunt it? No. Certainly not enough to satisfy the legions of her male fans, at least. And this is where Angel Locsin spanks her ass. I mean, just take a look back at Angel’s “Darna” costume. Can you imagine Kristine Hermosa wearing that skimpy outfit? That would be like the ultimate hotness for me.

But Kristine chooses to go the way of the innocent, virginal path, long after she’s ready and ripe for more mature roles. So where is she now? Her last teleserye with Diether Ocampo was a short fizzler, and now she’s plying her trade as a hapless fish vendor in ABS-CBN’s sleepytime slot.

Angel Locsin can continue to milk it for all it’s worth, but keep off the clothes and bring on the skin, girl! You’re more popular as a sex symbol, anyway.
